Sweet potato bread
Ingredients
- 6 1/2 mugs plain wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon finely shredded sweet potato (uncooked)
- 4 tablespoons sugar
- 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon dried yeast
- 1 1/2 mugs water
For firm ingredients you might want to use the INPhO weight calculator. For liquid ingredients the volume table could be useful.

Preparation

Mix all the dry ingredients together.

Boil the water and gradually add to the dry ingredients to form a dough. Knead the dough well.

Blend in the finely grated sweet potato.

Put the dough into the bread tin.

Cover the dough with a damp piece of cloth and leave in a warm, dry place for 2 hours.

Bake in a cool oven ( 160°C ) 45 minutes.
